If your wedding is more than 6 months away, you will be contacted by your photographer and/or videographer when 6 months are remaining until your wedding date. If your wedding is less than 6 months away, you will be contacted by your photographer and/or videographer within 3 weeks of booking.


They will call you to introduce themselves and go over general details of the big day! There will be a second phone call the week before your wedding to finalize and confirm all details.

WEDDING DAY

TIMELINE


We have covered a wide variety of weddings and have determined the best way to ensure all special moments are captured is to work hand-in-hand with you to determine what you would like captured, and the best timeline to accommodate that. This ensures that no matter how unique, how intricate, or how eventful your day is, all moments are being captured according to your vision.


We are happy to capture any part of your day (getting ready, first look, ceremony, bridal party, family, reception). This is your big day, and we are committed to giving you the coverage you need. Your photographer and videographer will go over the timeline of your day with you so that everyone is on the same page. ​


We will arrive at the starting location (getting ready location, ceremony venue, etc.) a half-hour before the designated start-time. This will ensure we are fully prepared to begin at said time. Please ensure all team members have a detailed itinerary of your timeline, including any special/cultural ceremonies, entrances and exits (such as reception entrance or send-off), or any other key events to ensure no detail is missed. Please note that deviations to the timeline, or additions that have not been communicated to the team may result in missed footage. We acknowledge that unforeseen situations may arise day-of, and we are committed to making necessary adjustments to prevent any lapses in capturing important moments during wedding photography or videography. Please have your full, detailed itinerary sent to your team members no later than seven days before your wedding day.


If you would like to add extra hours of coverage/upgrade your package, please let your Lead Wedding Manager know via your HoneyBook workspace. All additions must be made before your final payment due date (seven days before your wedding).

HOURS OF COVERAGE


Your hours of coverage depend on the package you purchased. Coverage begins at the specified start time and is continuous, this means that a package can't be split between multiple days/spread across a day with multiple gaps in between.


MEAL BREAKS


It is customary to allow for a 30 minute meal break for 5 - 7 hours worked and a 1 hour meal break for 8+ hours worked..


This does not include travel time and is not included in coverage time. This meal break can be accommodated by a meal provided at either your wedding luncheon or reception.

Your photographer will work with you to find a great location for your engagement session.

The more notice, the better! We typically like to have your engagement shoot planned 3 months in advance, depending on how far away your wedding date is. A good rule of thumb is that if you're thinking about having an engagement shoot done, nail down your date and location ASAP! Please note that engagement shoot delivery time falls under our overall delivery timeline (30 - 60 business days, 90+ business days during peak times), so this should be considered if you would like to use your engagement shoot photos for your wedding invitations.

PUNCUALITY & DURATION


The engagement session includes one and a half hours of photography with edited photos ready for digital download. Full printing rights included.

Your time is extremely valuable to us, and we want to give you the best product possible. Time and light are very valuable assets.

Make sure you are ready to go at your location by the time you have scheduled with your photographer. An overtime charge of $150 per hour may be assessed if you are late to your shoot, and if your shoot goes over time, our team members cannot guarantee their availability for overtime. This also applies to wedding day.

PRICE


You may add on an engagement session to any of our packages for $700.

Please be advised that a travel fee may apply depending on location of the shoot. DEPOSIT


A non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total package price is invoiced to reserve your date.

As we know you are most likely paying a lot of deposits right now, if you need a more flexible payment plan we are happy to work with you.

When you are ready to book, we will send an agreement and an invoice via email. The agreement can be signed digitally, and the invoice can be paid online via credit card, debit card, or e-transfer . You will also have the option of setting up automatic payments if you'd like.

TRAVEL FEES


If our team has to travel more than 10 km to your wedding location, a travel fee may be assessed.

We will evaluate each venue and inform you of the travel fee. It will be discussed upfront and included in the agreement.

FINAL PAYMENT


Final payment for services are due no later than 7 days before the day of the wedding. If final payment is not received before the wedding date, your assigned team member(s) will not be sent out to cover your wedding.

Feel free to pay anytime before the wedding date.


DATE CHANGE


If you need to change your date for any reason, there is no fee. However, please reach out first to make sure we are available on your new date.

If you have to cancel all-together, the deposit is non-refundable. If you have made your final payment before making the decision to cancel your wedding, the final payment will be refunded to you within 14 business days.

DEPOSIT
